Hands-on gear & build talk.

This is a kitchen & fridge slider I built for my 2016 Tacoma.
Everything started with a set of 60", locking Orr & Orr slides. With these in hand, a local metal fabrication shop built the sliding tray and frame to my spec (1/4" and 3/16" aluminium throughout). The slider's frame mounted to the original Toyota bolts that attached the bed to the truck's frame.
With that in place, I built the kitchen unit out of 1/2" plywood, stained it in Minwax's Dark Walnut stain, and attached my Partner Steel 18" stove to it.
The entire unit easily slides out, and the rear half was sized to fit an ARB 63QT refridgerator (not pictured).
The 10lb propane tank tucks in the back of the kitchen, and is secured in place via a cam-buckle strap.
