Tacoma bed drawer

The second project for my Tacoma was a storage drawer and sleeping platform for the truck bed.

Again using 3/4" plywood and outdoor carpet, I put together the following build.

The drawer box itself had 1" square steel tubing mounted on each of the two sides. This tubing slid between skateboard bearings, which were mounted on the frame of the storage unit. The unit itself was secured to the truck using turnbuckles in the front and rear. A Southco latch finished off the build.
